Jeremy Yamaguchi Speaks Out

I would like to start off with my name since that’s just as good a place as any to start.

My name is Jeremy Yamaguchi, And I was born into The Family on January, 28th, 1987 in Yokohama, Japan. I am a Webdesigner, Programmer, and also a part time musician. But most importantly I am a sold out, full time, disciple in The Family. My only goal is to win the world before it’s own sins come crashing down upon it.

When I heard about the recent events concerning Angela Smith and Ricky Rodriguez, I was shocked.

It was hard to fathom that someone who was brought up in such a loving, caring atmosphere could have it within himself to commit such a horrific crime. This is not the way that anyone in the Family is raised. On the contrary, we were raised without all the violent movies, TV, and videogames that secular kids grow up with. Violence on any level, is not a part of our lifestyle or fundamental beliefs. I grew up in, and have spent my whole life in the family and never have I been abused or treated unreasonably. Growing up, I was what you would call a “problem kid", the kind of kid that most parents would either send to a disciplinary school or just ignore and let run wild. But in the Family I was constantly shown love no matter what I had done to deserve otherwise. I firmly believe that The Family is the best place you could possibly raise your children and I fully intend on raising any children that I have in the future, in The Family.

There are however some people who would like to see everything that I have worked for destroyed by any means nessasary, including deceit, lies, slander and violence. They are hell bent on reaching their goal and, as was the case with Ricky, taking a violent course of action is definitely not past them. These are the ones who would try to turn our friends, our families and the media against us. They will go to any length to spread their lies and try to hurt people whose only goal is to help others and to spread the message of salvation. But despite what they would try to throw against me and my friends and family, I would still willingly forgive them in a heart beat if they would get rid of their malice and hatred, and take my hand of friendship. Like Jesus said to the Roman who crucified him, all I can say is, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they do.”

Jeremy Yamaguchi is a second generation member of the Family International, currently residing in the United States.
