After seeing your report on the 6 o’clock news about Ricky Rodriguez’s crime of murder which later resulted in his suicide, I had some serious questions.

According to what you are saying, if anyone out there feels they’ve ever been molested, hurt or treated unfairly they should have every right to brutally stab someone to death, and not only that but if you do, the media will give you attention for it, sympathize with you, and make you out to be the victim! If that is the case, I’m sure there should be a lot more murders happening.

Did you ever even stop to think that if Ricky really did have a case against Angela he could simply take her to court? After all, he knew where she lived.

If you are concerned about this case, have you taken the time to speak to members of the Family, ex-members who have no issues or agendas, and Angela’s friends and family? You make her out to be some evil villain even though she was the one who was stabbed to death.

Did you research and get unbiased information or proof before you slandered her name? Did you speak to anyone who loved her and knew her well? Did you find out for a fact that if she was ever even Ricky’s nanny?

You mention in your show that similar accusations of abuse have been raised against the Family before in Argentina, Spain and France, and although members were imprisoned the charges were dropped. The reason the charges were dropped is because there was nothing wrong. I was in Argentina during one of the so called “free the abused children” raids that were conducted, and out of the over 100 children that were forced to undergo very extensive unpleasant and humiliating examinations, the only fault they found was a tooth cavity on one of the children. I challenge anyone to find such positive results in any other levels of society. Yes, the child abuse charges, along with other charges such as selling and trafficking children’s organs, running prostitution centers stockpiling weapons and other such ridicules charges held no water because they simply were not true. After all that we went through our lawyers suggested suing not only corrupt government officials for the trauma our children suffered but also the media for slander.

I am very disappointed that a respectable newscast as yours would air such a questionable one-sided story. Are we supposed to only hear from the killer as he gleefully plays with his knife before murdering a woman, and then believe his angry friends who have openly declared their intent to destroy our organization by any means possible? Are they the only ones who’s opinions are to be valued? What about Angela’s friends? What about happy, content and fulfilled youth who are still members of the Family? What about people who are no longer in the Family and may have a very different tale to tell? I hope for the sake of us all that you have not compromised the truth for the sake of sensation and ratings. May God help us all!
