My name is Michele G. Roys, I am 22 years old, married to an adorably sweet guy, who is 24. I was born in the Family, raised part of my childhood in the Family, but I was unfortunate to live for about 5 years out of the Family. I am back and EXTREMELY happy for that!!! I love all there is about the Family International and I will not sit around while there are those that are trying to put an end to all I believe, desire and live for.

I just want to say that I really can’t think of another life that is worth living for. I don’t know why or how people keep trying to stop others that are ACTUALLY doing something for their neighbors, someone that is actually taking on the torch and doing what they can to help, love, care and encourage those around them.

It’s repulsive to hear that people (more like YOU that are bad mouthing us/me) can’t come to grips with yourself! Come on, stop dwelling on the past and making up a huge fuss about it, leave the past where it belongs—in the past –and try moving on with life, COULD YOU?!!!

It seems to me that those that can’t do anything better with their time then to try to destroy the lives of others, are really missing something ‘up in their heads’ because for one, they don’t really know how to live life and strive to attain goals, and secondly they seem to suffer from some serious inferiority complex, like “Oh, I am not happy, and I don’t want to blame myself for it, let me pick on someone else, give them the blame, and use them to make me happy with myself if I am able to put them down” –sounds like you, right!!!?!?!?

I thought so!

Sorry folks, that is not going to happen, whatever you try to do will only make us stronger, because we have the Lord and we have his words, and we have one another—which is something you might not be able to relate too, since you seem so full of Yourself, that it doesn’t look like you are investing much of your time to love others and care for them, like you said you are doing…hint, hint.

In the Family, it’s the only place I have seen that there is genuine love, concern and understanding,(and I have been around the globe quite a bit). I am proud of being in the Family, I pride myself in being able to say that I am a FULL TIME DISCIPLE of Jesus, I am proud to be obeying the teachings of Christ, and I am happy to make others happy, and it really brings joy to my heart to know that I have made a difference even in the lives of the littlest of them all. Like Mother Theresa of Calcutta once said “I am only a drop in the ocean, but without that tiny drop, the ocean would not be the same”.

I am making a difference in people’s life, are YOU?

I have helped as a full time missionary in many countries, including India, Iceland, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and am now in Brazil. I know for a fact that what I do is right and that there is tangible proof to be seen It amazes me to see the love and camaraderie that is found in our Family homes. Even I, being a total stranger in many of these countries that I went to help, felt that I was very close to the other missionaries I resided with.

The goal, the vision and the Love that we have for Jesus makes us put our differences aside and work TOGETHER to help others —Are you missing that? Do you feel bad that you can’t do anything to make your heart and conscience be at peace, which is why you have to labor for hours on end, indulging on your bitterness, umbrage and inferiority complex to make US feel like we are not doing anything good or right? Wake UP and smell the coffee beans…

One thing that I want to say to you is, move on and let us be, open your eyes, for you seem to be the ones that are ‘blind leaders of blind’, you seem to be the ones that can’t see one inch from your noise. YOU are the ones that are attacking ME, and you are the ones that don’t seem to have any LOVE in your heart.

So let those that are still willing to do something good for others (which is quite rare now a days) live, stop feeling sorry about yourself and see that many other people go through a LOT worse than you, and just try doing something good for a change –stop thinking ONLY ABOUT your damn self. And as I have said earlier –leave the past where it belongs –the past…

And one more thing, my hat goes off for those that have left our midst, and have opted for a different lifestyle, not only that, they are really doing something with their life –they are living it the way they wanted too—not bothering us, or making up stories about us. They are striving to make a difference where they are at, and I am proud of them for that. I have a lot of friends that did just that –moved on! This is very commendable, and you should follow their sample too!!!

My prayers are always with them and with you too. One passage in the book of Matthew that I really like is (Mat 5:44 “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute YOU). Have you been able to show this kind of love to someone….I don’t think so!
