Peter Speaks Out!
From Peter, 20 yrs. old
In the Family, love is our driving force. Our love for Jesus compels us to love mankind and do our best to spread that love. I believe in making a difference in this world. There is so much hatred in the world. Hate and greed are driving man to destruction. I feel called to spread the truth of Jesus and His love. It’s so simple, so beautiful and so powerful. Why shouldn’t anyone want to give his or her life to make this world a heavenly place where all is fair and good.
Only when this earth fully belongs to God again and people see the benefit of living His way will we have that paradise. Man can’t save himself. He’s been trying all through history and it just hasn’t worked. It’s only ruined him. I want to show people that by giving their lives to Jesus, He’ll save them. It’s the only way. I know He’s saved me. Some people will listen to us, and that’s what matters. We’ll never win popularity in this world. Too many have already chosen the darkness rather than light. But many will listen to us and will treasure the Words of Jesus like we do and then those people can have Heaven in their hearts like we do. God’s kingdom is not on this world yet, but while we wait for it to come we can have peace in our hearts and happiness in our lives by accepting His kingdom into our lives personally.
We’re striving to bring peace, love and joy into people’s lives. But there are plenty of people who don’t want that and don’t want others to have that. Those simple ideals that we hold so dear would bring ruin to their systems and ways of living. No wonder they hate us, no wonder they want to kill us. It’s been the same throughout our history and for those who came before us. While we conquer with light and truth, they always seek to fight us by keeping people in darkness and bedeviling the truth. To hell with them, they can’t ever win. Light is never quenched by darkness no matter how thick it is. It’s always their monstrous systems that crash as people realize the freedom that God wants to give them, no matter how hard His enemies try to withhold that truth from the people.
But the Devil’s people are hard and work and new systems arise, each more oppressive than the one before and each with a cleaner face to hide its atrocities. We will never be of this world. God’s chosen will never be accepted and loved by the majority. We will continue to be persecuted for our simple faith until God Himself steps in and saves us from the ultimate of mans “glorious” systems and therefore his cruelest and most opposed to God.
But until that wonderful day, we must stay faithful to reach out to the lost and searching. They need us because we may be the only love of God that they will ever know. God help us if we fail them. May God give us so much love in our hearts that we may do the utmost to find those lost sheep regardless of what our enemies may do and who they may kill.
Never mind the consequences and hardships, I want this life.
