My name is Ana Maria Robb. I am 18 years old.

I never personally met Ricky Rodriguez and I never even heard about Angela Smith until recent events took place. I don’t have much to say in respect of this unpleasant incident except that I am appalled, just like every time I hear about such similar happenings that seem such a common occurrence in this world of today. I do sympathize with their loved ones though, and they are in my prayers.

The fact that the media and some unfavorable former members are attempting to involve us without even soliciting our side makes me seriously question just how fraudulent has the world media become. I am not going to sit around without protest while my Family, and those around me that I respect, be held responsible for other people’s crimes, and their name defamed. To the contrary, I am going to stand alongside all those, in or out of the Family, that believe as I do.

I don’t want to write a long repertoire in an attempt to justify the slanderous lies against the Family. I am not going to waste my time trying to convince people against their will; man convinced against his will is of the same mind still. The way I see it, our friends don’t need an explanation and our enemies won’t believe us anyways. Our detractors and the media are going to believe what they want. Like the Bible says, “because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved, for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12″

I’ve made my decision and by Gods grace I will not be moved. I will hold fast to what I have that no man may take my crown. Rev.3:11b

Something great about the Family is that our fellowship is made up of people who have such faith and concern for every one around them. If you are looking for love from people that you can trust than this is the place! I’ve always had all I needed and more.

Though I have been in the Family all my life I must admit that I’ve not always been here in heart. If there is one thing I learned during the time I was uncommitted it’s that the Devil not only wants you out of God’s will, but he will only be satisfied with your complete annihilation. I can truthfully say that if it was not for the love of my Dad and Mom, and the faith of my oldest sister and brother-in-law who took me in, I would not be alive today.

Greater love has no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friend, Jn.15:13. This is what these four people, and countless others in the Family, have done for me. So these are the people I choose to stick with!–These people who laid down their lives for me. This is the life I chose. You can call me what you want! You can do to me what you want! You can kill my body (Or try!), but my spirit you will never touch! You will never touch my faith! Who gives you the right anyway?

In the present case, I advise you: Leave us alone! For if this purpose is of human origin it will fail. But if it is from God you will not be able to stop us; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” Acts 5:38, 39 If God be for us, who can be against us.

(For the record: I do NOT place all former members in the same category, and am respectful of those who have chosen to truly MOVE ON. I have a sister who in not in the Family, yet I hold HER in HIGH esteem, and I LOVE her just as much as ever. Although she may not agree with all that we stand for she respects the decision I, and my other brothers and sisters, have made. I thank her with all my heart for her respect of me.)
