Why Do U Stone Us?

My name is Joana D’arc, I’m 20, I Live in Brazil and I’ve been born and raised in the Family International and I sincerely can’t think of a better place to be, live and die.

I’m the type of person who loves quotes and true phrases and there’s one in particular that I’ve adopted as my slogan “You will find, as you look back upon your life that the moments that stand out are the moments when you have done things for others.”
I was taken by surprise at news about Ricky and Angela. That was a tragedy for me! And I think not only me but to many here. And what saddens me the most is that some people are taking advantage of that to point their fingers at us like its our fault! Well, in my opinion a 29-y-o knows what he’s doing and what he does. He’s got full responsibility.

Free will was given to all mankind, and we decide what we want to do with our lives, if we want to love or hate, be a enemy or a friend, it’s up to us!

The truth isn’t popular, the truth isn’t comfortable, the truth isn’t easy! And the truth is that people are trying to put an end to the Family International, by telling lies and horrendous things about our life style and what we believe.

I’m free to believe in what I want and I chose to stick with the Family no matter what you say! I’m here, I live here, I’ve been here for 20 years and I know what’s going on here better than anyone out there. So in who do you rather believe?

Why do you stone us for being the way we are? For believe in what we have the right to believe? If you have no sin, pls cast away the 1st stone! Go ahead!!

Lying never takes you anywhere you should know about now that lying is bad, you even taught your kids that! Pinocchio is a great example!

I’m currently a teacher and a student, I teach not only here in the home but in a school we have for poor kids. I love teaching and I can truly say that the kids are really smart, loved and cared for the best way!

No we don’t expose our kids to watching a bunch of crap on TV! We know really well what happens if we do that. There’s lots of bad living samples.

I also cook, go out to tell others about Jesus, play and sing, write…the list is never ending! And I’ve learned all this in the Family International. I’ve been basically all over Brazil, being a missionary. And yes that’s the life I chose for myself, I don’t regret it because I know that in the end the most outstanding things will be the ones done for others and in love. So…LIVE AND LET LIVE!!!!

All we do is talk about the one we love the most and cherish, is that a sin? People should be happy and helps us out, not tear us down for doing good…that’s all I have to say.

Joana D’arc is a second-generation member of the Family International.
