My name is Jonathan Michael Zalevich, I’m 17 and I’m a family-born Missionary Member of The Family International in Rio, Brazil.

I don’t have a long witty speech, being a man of few words; I’ll try to make this as short as I can.

First of all, I firmly believe in everything the Family International stands for; I am a fulltime disciple on my own accord, as well as writing this on my own accord. Second off, in all my years of life I have never been abused nor had anything that people say has happened to the second-generation of the Family International happen to me. Come to think of it, I have never seen any of these accusations to be true. I am very satisfied and proud of the Christian heritage my parents, teachers and shepherds have passed on to me.

There are some former member apostates who think otherwise, who would love to put an end to what we in the Family International stand for, with their obviously hateful and bitter accusations. Who do they think they are? Why are they bad-mouthing about us?! Do they think they have to speak for us of the second-generation of the Family? Well, listen here dude because I got news, I have a voice and I can speak for myself! If the Family is an abusive place, you would have heard it from me, or people that are actually in the Family!

Dude, our former member apostates should get on with their lives (I’m sure they have heard that before…….). I’m not talking about all the former Family members, a lot have moved on with their lives. I myself have three older brothers that have left the Family, they moved on and live successful (not to mention happy………..) lives, I respect their choice and it didn’t change anything between us. But to all you former member apostates here’s some advice; instead of trying to pull us down and trying to stop us from reaching our goal, stop living in the past and get a life!
