You can´t stop the rain from falling. No matter what you do you can´t stop the rain, and neither can you stop our rain. I believe we´re as fast and strong as a tsunami, and it would be dangerous for anyone to come and put their hands in the way and simply “command” it to stop! Do you think you can get away with poking your finger in God´s eye, and not expect Him to blow you away?
The thing that I see around me the most each day is love. The only times I think that I am not completely surrounded by loving people is the times when I go outside and see many children just like me, but not wearing the same happy and radiant smile as I see all my peers and family wear each and every day of their lives. I couldn´t ask for more.
You say I need “help” and that I must be “rescued”. Ha! No thank you, I don´t want your help! If your so interested in helping someone, go help yourself find a life. Just because you don´t have one yet does not give you a good enough reason to go destroying mine. I´m more then happy with the life that God has given me.
All we do is help others, but the world still refuses us. I don´t think I´ll ever understand why. I´ve seen poor children in Africa begging for food. I´ve seen mothers desperate with children on the streets asking for help. But most of all, I´ve seen the poor children´s faces light up with gratitude, as we gave them the help they needed. I´ve seen the desperate mothers cry for joy, and thank God for our help. This is the kind of love we give. Have we done any harm?
I want to thank all those who have written to this site and stood up with conviction. This is the least we could do for the Family International. Keep up the fight!
